AMAZON AND FINANCIAL INCLUSION

Artemisia focused on two main themes in 2016. Alongside Coca-Cola Brazil, we did #TheBoatChallenge; and with Natura, we created the Amazon Natura Challenge: Business for a Standing Forrest – programs based on the ‘Artemisia Lab’ methodology focused on supporting startups with solutions aimed on the socio-environmental development of the Amazon region. In the same year, alongside Caixa (Brazil’s largest public bank), we launched the ‘Social Impact Business Challenge: Financial Education and Financial Services for All’ to empower a new generation of businesses that promote financial inclusion and financial literacy for people at the base of the pyramid.
